Flavored Millet 65

Flavored Millet 65 is a great pack bait recipe for catching carp. It is fairly easy to make, effective and packs and throws well.

Flavored Millet 65 is a nice pack bait that we think you will enjoy trying. It isn’t overly complicated to make and can be a great bait for
catching carp. It packs very well, keeps a good while and throws well too. It’s a good solid bait that is a good bait to practice packing with.   • 1 Bucket with lid (A 5-gallon bucket is preferred.)


  • 3 cups Hulled Millet Generally bought at a local feed store.
  • 1 cup Wheat Bran Generally bought at a local feed store.
  • 1/2 cup Soy Meal Generally bought at a local feed store.
  • 1 1/3 cup Flour
  • 4 oz Karo Syrup
  • 4 oz Liquid Flavor Maple syrup, superiors, etc.


  • In bucket add millet, wheat bran, soy meal, and flour. Basically, all the dry components. Mix well.
  • In pot add karo syrup and liquid flavor, heat gently, do not boil. You don't want to burn it.
  • Slowly add liquid to bucket with dry ingredients. Mix well.
  • Cover with lid and let sit for a couple of hours.


This bait packs like a rock and breaks apart quickly. Great fished on puff or a bead.  This is a very good pack bait recipe.
